Part Time Warehouse Worker
About The Position
As a warehouse employee, you’ll accurately select cases and build pallets for store delivery, playing a key role in keeping shelves stocked and meeting customer demand. The role is suited to people who thrive in fast-paced, physical work. Applicants may be considered for multiple opportunities and are asked to provide as much availability as works with their schedule. Applicants must be 18 years or older. The position is part-time at the Wegmans warehouse at 1500 Brooks Ave, Rochester, NY 14624. Pay is $20–$20.50 per hour, with scheduled increases every six months and part-time earning potential of up to $23 per hour after four years on the job. The role includes comprehensive safety training for new employees, ongoing safety training throughout the year, and personal protective equipment and/or cold-weather gear provided at no cost.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Able to lift 20–25 pounds and occasionally to frequently lift more than 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Accurately select cases and build pallets for store delivery.
- Build and stack pallets to protect products and ensure safe delivery.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift, pallet jack, and Vocollect.
- Communicate effectively with management and the team.
- Lift 20–25 pounds and occasionally to frequently lift more than 50 pounds.
