About The Position

Perform duties outlined below in addition to assisting functional areas when available. The role moves trailers between yard and door locations and performs general warehouse processes such as picking, receiving, packing, and storing parts. The employee follows general safety requirements and operates yard trucks, fork trucks, picker trucks, and reach trucks. Other duties may be assigned by Aurora executives.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry part numbers and warehouse processes.
• PC and basic computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail and task completion.
• Strong work and safety ethic.
• Ability to operate, or experience operating, a yard tractor or tractor/trailer; must be comfortable backing and maneuvering trailers from 28 to 53 feet, or willing to be trained.
• Ability to work in a high-traffic, limited-space environment.
• Positive attitude and team-building skills.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers from yard or door locations to other yard or door locations.
• Perform general warehouse processes, including picking, receiving, packing, and placing parts in storage locations.
• Adhere to general safety requirements.
• Operate yard trucks, fork trucks, picker trucks, and reach trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Aurora executives.
