About The Position

The Warehouse Yard Truck Driver moves trailers between yard and door locations and assists warehouse functional areas as needed. The role also performs general warehouse processes, including picking, receiving, packing, and placing parts in storage locations. The position operates yard trucks and warehouse equipment while adhering to general safety requirements.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry part numbers and warehouse processes.
• PC and basic computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail and task completion.
• Strong work and safety ethic.
• Ability or experience operating a yard tractor or tractor/trailer, or willingness to be trained.
• Comfort backing and maneuvering trailers from 28 to 53 feet, or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to work in a high-traffic, limited-space environment.
• Positive attitude and team-building skills.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers from yard or door locations to other yard or door locations.
• Perform warehouse processes, including picking, receiving, packing, and placing parts in storage locations.
• Operate yard trucks, fork trucks, picker trucks, and reach trucks.
• Adhere to general safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executives of Aurora.
