About The Position

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is hiring a Yard Truck Driver in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania area. The role involves moving 53-foot semi-trailers safely within the warehouse yard, including maneuvering trailers in tight spaces and moving them in and out of loading docks and parking spots. Drivers work onsite and remain in the yard rather than leaving for routes. The position is full-time, with a Saturday-to-Monday schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Starting pay is $23 per hour, with pay increases after 90 days and one year based on performance and attendance. Overtime after 40 hours is paid at time and a half. No CDL is required, and the role does not involve loading or unloading merchandise.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Truck driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a yard tractor and move trailers around the yard.
• Drop and pull trailers at dock doors and park them onsite.
• Safely maneuver and back semi-trailers.
• Enter and exit semi-trailers multiple times per hour, place and remove wheel chocks, and lift and open doors.
• Follow safety procedures.
