About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Fork Truck Driver to join its industrial maintenance team in Greenville, South Carolina. The position is listed for the third shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM EST, although hours may vary based on business demand. The role handles warehouse materials and orders, transports materials within and outside the facility, and supports safe operations and professional customer relations. Various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules may be required. Applicants offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. The role may require a valid driver’s license and requires the ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location. The position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. The work involves regularly lifting up to 50 pounds; climbing ladders and stairs; repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, turning, stretching, and reaching; and extensive walking throughout the plant. Some tasks require repetitive wrist movement, use of a company/client-approved utility knife, and the ability to distinguish wire-coding colors. Employees must wear steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as needed, and maintain acceptable performance while coping with job and workplace stressors. The listed compensation range is $19.00–$22.00 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Pass a pre-employment substance abuse test if offered a position.
May be required to hold a valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during a shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, move in a 90-degree fashion, and stretch or reach repetitively during a shift.
Ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during a shift.
Ability to use a company/client-approved utility knife.
Ability to differentiate colors used in wire color-coding.
Ability to perform tasks involving repetitive wrist movement.
Ability to interact professionally and in a friendly manner with clients, including during stressful periods.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats.
Ability to cope with job and work-environment stressors while maintaining acceptable performance and contribution.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or trade school certification in Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or a related program.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
Transport materials between locations inside and outside the facility.
