About The Position

The Fork Lift Operator trains to operate forklifts and multidirectional motorized equipment, changes forklift batteries and gas tanks, and reports maintenance needs for motorized equipment. The role also performs other related duties and assignments as required. Associates must work safely at all times, follow applicable health and safety manuals, use required personal protective equipment, and promptly report unsafe working conditions. The position is permanent and is identified as 3rd shift.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Detail-oriented, with good communication skills and the ability to interact well with others.
• Able to separate product by profiling color.
• Possess a company motorized equipment license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Train to operate forklifts and multidirectional motorized equipment.
• Change batteries and gas tanks on forklifts.
• Report maintenance needs for motorized equipment.
• Separate product by profiling color.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• Perform duties safely in accordance with applicable health and safety manuals.
• Wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and immediately report unsafe working conditions.
