Fork Lift Operator 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Fork Lift Operator trains to operate forklifts and multi-directional motorized equipment. The role includes changing forklift batteries and gas tanks, reporting equipment maintenance needs, separating product by profiling color, and completing other related duties and assignments. Associates are expected to work safely, follow applicable health and safety manuals, wear or use required personal protective equipment, and promptly report unsafe working conditions. The position is permanent and is based at 433 N. Main St., Rocky Mount, Virginia. The listed shift is third shift.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Detail-oriented, with good communication skills and the ability to interact well with others.
- Possess a company motorized equipment license.
- Safe work performance is required at all times.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Responsibilities
- Train to operate forklifts and multi-directional motorized equipment.
- Change forklift batteries and gas tanks.
- Report maintenance needs for motorized equipment.
- Separate product by profiling color.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Perform duties safely in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.
- Wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and immediately report unsafe working conditions.
