About The Position

Warehouse and Driver positions ensure that material is readily available for customers. The role involves accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, picking and packing orders for customer pickup and delivery, and maintaining Coburn’s standard of customer service. This is a non-CDL position. Coburn Supply Company, Inc. operates locations in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama and serves the construction industry. Its customers include plumbing, heating and air conditioning, mechanical, municipal and utility, and general contractors, as well as home builders and remodelers. The role is in a manufacturing environment with variable but moderately high noise levels.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in a related industry.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read a map and/or follow written directions.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead.
Mental and visual concentration to coordinate manual dexterity with attention.
Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to Coburn’s customer and company branch locations.
For Louisiana non-CDL drivers transporting material intrastate in vehicles with a GVWR of 26,000 pounds or less: minimum age 21 and a Louisiana Chauffeurs license (Class D) with a medical card.
Forklift operators must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
Must pass the company-required drug screen and physical.
