About The Position

Warehouse and Driver positions ensure that materials are readily available for customers. Employees accurately and safely receive and store materials, pick and pack orders for pickup and delivery, and maintain Coburn’s standard of customer service. This is a non-CDL position. The role is based at Coburn’s of Richland “Jackson” in Richland, Mississippi. Employees must maintain a consistent presence at work, pass the company-required drug screen and physical, and travel to customer and company branch locations as needed. The work takes place in a manufacturing environment with variable but moderately high noise levels.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in a related industry.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read a map and/or follow written directions.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer and company branch locations.
Meet the applicable non-CDL driver licensing requirements for the state of operation. Mississippi drivers must have a Class D license and medical card.
For forklift operation, be at least 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead.
Ability to coordinate manual dexterity with mental and visual attention.
Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required.
Must pass the company-required drug screen and physical.
Consistent presence at work is required.
