About The Position

From warehouse storage areas, the Warehouse Trainer trains selectors to fill customer orders. The role includes selecting and palletizing products, transporting palletized goods to the loading dock, and training warehouse employees and drivers in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks. The position also involves completing initial training in accident reporting, safety, and HACCP, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Five years of related experience in warehousing and powered industrial trucks.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA-certified trainer for powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Read computer-generated stickers to determine items to select and their warehouse locations.
• Convey items from warehouse slots to pallets to fill customer orders.
• Arrange items on pallets to support efficient delivery and product safety.
• Sort and stack perishable goods on refrigerated, freezer, or dry pallets according to product type.
• Identify materials by attaching stickers to products.
• Operate a hand pallet jack to move palletized items from warehouse storage areas to the loading dock.
• Shrink-wrap pallets correctly.
• Complete initial training in accident reporting, safety, and HACCP.
• Train warehouse employees and drivers in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Follow other supervisor instructions and perform other related duties as assigned.
