About The Position

A Trainer is an expert in all aspects of warehouse operations. The role’s main responsibility is to train and develop hourly employees, both at the beginning of their employment and on an ongoing basis. The Trainer works closely with operational leaders to identify areas where training can improve the quality of work and employee performance. Trainers are motivated team players with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and respect for others.

This position is located at 1300 South Dean Avenue, Raymore, Missouri, 64083, United States.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Possess time-management and organizational skills.
• Have working knowledge of warehouse equipment, such as a forklift, pallet jack, or cherry picker.
• Be able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a team environment.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Be able to keep confidential information private.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and be able to work overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or GED.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide training individually or in groups to new hires and tenured employees.
• Communicate effectively and explain tasks to others.
• Assist with new-hire orientation, onboarding processes, and safety compliance.
• Monitor and report on new hires’ training, productivity, and accuracy.
• Ensure new-hire training, retraining, and cross-training are completed according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Deliver PIT certifications and evaluations.
• Maintain a respectful workplace and encourage team collaboration.
• Operate department-specific technology to perform job tasks and train others, such as RF scanners, desktop computers, and touchscreens.
• Perform other duties assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.
