Night Warehouse Trainee

About The Position
The Warehouse Trainee is an entry-level position that teaches warehousing through formal training and/or on-the-job experience. The trainee learns to operate material-handling equipment, including mid-rider pallet jacks and forklifts, and uses electronic technology to select customer orders and handle products. The work involves loading and unloading products from transportation equipment, repetitive lifting of up to 90 pounds, and standing for long periods. The trainee must be able to learn to use electronic technology and read.
Requirements
- Ability to read a product list.
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a drug screen and physical exam.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting and stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Responsibilities
- Select customer orders using electronic technology and physical product handling.
- Load and unload products from transportation equipment.
- Learn to operate material-handling equipment, including mid-rider pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Perform repetitive lifting and stand for long periods.
