About The Position

The Warehouse Trainee is an entry-level position that provides formal training and/or on-the-job experience in warehousing. The trainee learns to operate material handling equipment, including mid-rider pallet jacks and forklifts. The role includes selecting customer orders using electronic technology, handling products, and loading and unloading products from transportation equipment. It requires repetitive lifting of up to 90 pounds and standing for long periods. The trainee must be able to learn to use electronic technology and read product lists.

Requirements

• Ability to read product lists.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a drug screen and physical exam.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Learn warehousing through formal training and/or on-the-job experience.
