About The Position

As a Meijer warehouse team member, you will select orders for stores from the cold storage unit. Meijer provides cold-weather gear. This position is full-time once you move to activity-based pay.

The role involves receiving, shipping, inventory control, and maintaining product quality and temperature standards for fresh and frozen foods. It also includes keeping the building sanitary and following Meijer safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer and technology skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to relate well to others, and ability to build and sustain effective work relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy by following established processes.
• Work with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping processes for fresh and frozen foods.
• Maintain product quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
• Follow established inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Accurately complete receiving, order, and shipping processes.
• Consistently maintain building sanitation standards.
• Practice 200% safety accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
