About The Position

Join Meijer's cold storage team to select orders for delivery to stores from the cold storage unit. Meijer provides cold-weather gear. The position is full-time once the team member moves to activity-based pay. The role supports receiving, inventory, shipping, and safe storage of fresh and frozen foods while maintaining product quality, temperature, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer and technology skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain excellent attendance and work record.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate well to others and build and sustain effective work relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy by following established processes.
• Work with truck drivers and unloaders while carrying out receiving and shipping processes for fresh and frozen foods.
• Maintain product quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Accurately complete receiving, order, and shipping processes.
• Maintain building sanitation standards.
• Practice 200% safety accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
