Warehouse Team Lead 1st shift M-F 7am-3:30pm $19/hr
About The Position
The Warehouse Team Lead is part of the Receiving Department team in Brewster, New York, and is responsible for leading receiving operations. The role ensures work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with quality requirements. The Team Lead receives products into the warehouse management system (WMS), verifies accuracy and units of measure, reports discrepancies, and troubleshoots shipment or receiving errors. The position also supports employee development through coaching and training, coordinates with other departments to resolve issues, and tracks receiving and employee productivity. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The posted hourly rate is $19.00. The successful candidate may be eligible for general wage increases. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two to four years of warehouse or receiving experience.
- Advanced knowledge of LPNs, pallets, labels, and related items.
- Experience with WMS and handheld RF devices.
- Forklift operation experience and certification.
- Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and WMS.
- Ability to communicate with vendors.
- Data-entry skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 pounds.
