About The Position

Warehouse Associates handle loose freight and may load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a distribution center or warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is important to the role. The position may involve physically exerting duties in a warehouse where indoor temperatures fluctuate with the seasons because the facility may not be air conditioned or heated.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment that may be non-air-conditioned or unheated, with indoor temperatures fluctuating with the seasons.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Computer experience, such as using order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, taking the weight, size, and characteristics of products into account.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for oneself and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
