About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead leads the Receiving Department at the Brewster, New York location, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and in compliance with quality requirements. The role receives products into the warehouse management system (WMS), verifies accuracy and units of measure, reports discrepancies, and troubleshoots shipment or receiving errors. The Team Lead supports direct reports through coaching and training, collaborates with other departments to resolve issues, and tracks receiving and employee productivity. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a stated hourly rate of $19.00.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two to four years of warehouse or receiving experience.
Advanced knowledge of LPNs, pallets, labels, and related materials.
Experience with WMS and handheld RF devices.
Forklift operation experience and certification.
Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and WMS.
Ability to communicate with vendors.
Data-entry skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
