About The Position

Air General is seeking a full-time Warehouse Supervisor for its Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) operation. The supervisor works in the cargo operation on behalf of contracted airlines, partners with station management to oversee daily operations, and leads the team to achieve successful performance. The role focuses on safe, punctual, and reliable contract handling services and meeting or exceeding customer targets.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
Two years of continuous warehouse experience.
Two years of supervisory experience.
PC proficiency, including MS Office applications, and basic computer skills.
Must pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks.
Must pass a drug test.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be able to obtain a valid airport ID badge.
Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 70 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, speak fluently, and understand English.
Proven leadership skills, customer service skills, and air cargo experience.

Responsibilities

Organize, coordinate, and assist with all contract handling services.
Ensure all procedures are followed.
Ensure handling services do not adversely affect the safe and punctual operation of customers' flight services.
Supervise the operation and motivate and direct staff as required.
Assist the manager in ensuring all customer targets are achieved or exceeded.
Ensure all safety standards are followed and security procedures are complied with.
Implement and oversee directives and procedures that enhance service levels to the customer.
Meet regularly with the manager to establish ongoing feedback and action plans for service-handling improvements.
