About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor leads and engages employees at the Logistics Center to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals. The role oversees a specific shift and focuses on coaching, supporting, and developing employees to ensure efficient, consistent performance. The supervisor also works with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices. This position is performed on-site in a hybrid warehouse and office environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; flexible hours may be required to support deadlines or cross-functional collaboration. The annual salary range is $72,384 to $80,000, and the position is not incentive eligible.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience supervising others.
Proven leadership skills, including organization, communication, and cross-functional teamwork.
Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
Foundational skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to engage effectively with frontline employees and leadership teams to positively influence culture and drive results.
Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements, including standing or walking for extended periods, lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, and working around warehouse equipment and traffic.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience operating or overseeing the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Prior experience with Blue Yonder or Körber WMS systems.
Understanding of warehouse operations and experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with employees through daily interaction and motivation; lead daily shift meetings and communicate priorities, expectations, goals, results, and updates.
Address employee concerns, resolve issues, and escalate matters when needed.
Lead and participate in site-wide activities, social awareness initiatives, employee events, site management meetings, and employee roundtables.
Facilitate monthly safety committee meetings and foster a safety-first culture and positive employee relations.
Support efforts to maintain a union-free workplace.
Understand and communicate shift, customer, and Logistics Center goals; execute daily work plans and adjust workflows to meet targets.
Apply the CJ Logistics America Labor Management Program, including regular performance observations.
Support inventory control and quality assurance by participating in audits.
Provide frontline input on staffing needs and collaborate with leadership on supply management and maintenance scheduling.
Observe, coach, and provide timely performance feedback to employees; track and communicate Forklift Operator productivity and quality metrics.
Conduct safety observations and participate in safety initiatives.
Oversee employee timekeeping and attendance to ensure payroll compliance.
Promote and implement operational best practices; shadow Forklift Operators to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Identify training and cross-training needs and provide hands-on training as needed.
Perform process quality checks and manage related program activities.
Communicate customer-specific requirements, review operational performance against customer expectations, and help employees understand how their roles support customer goals.
Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
