About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of perishable warehouse employees, ensure compliance with all company policies, assist in the training of new hires, and ensure all safety, production, sanitation, and quality standards are attained. The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to read, and write
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in Warehouse supervising at least 10 associates; preferably in the Grocery industry or fast paced, production based environment
• Steel Toe Shoes are required

Nice To Haves

• college degree preferred
• Experience in a unionized environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and On-Time delivery to customer
• Ensure compliance of sanitation guidelines by warehouse employees
• Monitor employee relations and handle employee issues/problems
• Assist with training new hires and other training as needed
• Oversee the daily actions of employees including performance management
• Ensure all employees are in compliance with safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
