About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist provides support for managing furnishings, window treatments, equipment, and appliances for Special Command Positions (SCPs), general and flag officers, installation commanders, and civilian equivalents in privatized housing. The role provides management, logistics, warehousing, and preventive maintenance services to maintain government-furnished properties.

The position oversees delivery, installation, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and disposal of furnishings, helping ensure government-owned equipment remains in optimal working condition. Appliance maintenance includes cleaning, filter replacement, and minor repairs for items such as ice makers, refrigerators, trash compactors, and instant hot water dispensers.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of equipment and furnishings.
• Ability to maintain ice makers, refrigerators, trash compactors, and instant hot water dispensers, including cleaning, filter replacement, and minor repairs.
• Strong understanding of maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications.
• Experience documenting and reporting maintenance issues, property loss, or abuse.
