About The Position

The Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and quantities with a handheld scanner, moving orders to staging, packaging them securely, and helping ensure orders are completed on time and meet productivity expectations. The specialist communicates inventory, equipment, replenishment, and short-dated or expired-item issues to the appropriate teams.

The position also supports a safe, clean, organized, and member-focused club environment. Responsibilities include following standard operating procedures and club policies, handling returns and damaged or spoiled products, maintaining the OMNI/SFC area, and assisting in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• May need to bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use a handheld RF scanner to pick orders and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Complete orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operational processes, efficiencies, productivity standards, and SOPs for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when metrics are not met.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine whether they should be handled through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and team members, deliver service excellence, and address or escalate member concerns appropriately.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
