About The Position

The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and digital order fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, verifying merchandise with a handheld scanner, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club, and requires meeting productivity and service-level expectations while following standard operating procedures.

The associate works with club team members to address inventory or equipment problems, replenish merchandise, meet order deadlines, package orders securely, process returns, and maintain a clean, organized fulfillment area. The position also includes member service, compliance with club policies, teamwork, and other duties as assigned. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use an RF handheld scanner to pick and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update or verify merchandise information using the scanner.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and established standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized, and perform housekeeping duties such as removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine whether they should be handled via DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Provide friendly, courteous service, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to meet team goals and maintain club standards.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
