Warehouse Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and digital order fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, verifying items and quantities with a handheld RF scanner, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Associates are expected to meet productivity and service-level requirements, work safely and efficiently, provide friendly member service, and maintain an organized fulfillment area while following club policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Ability to continuously move about on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; may need to lift and move heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work around moving machinery and loud equipment, with occasional exposure to temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders and to company-approved cleaning agents.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations using the scanner.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
- Work with the team to retrieve merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
- Follow established operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
- Provide friendly, courteous service, address and escalate member concerns as appropriate, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Maintain clean and organized OMNI Space and storage bins in accordance with club and safety standards.
- Attend work regularly and predictably; perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
