Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist Part Time
About The Position
The Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist performs general warehouse and digital order fulfillment activities. The role includes pulling merchandise from pick lists, using handheld RF scanners to pick and verify orders, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and operating equipment. The specialist supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club, while meeting productivity and service-level requirements. The position also involves maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area; following club policies and standard operating procedures; and providing friendly, service-oriented support to members.
Requirements
- Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
- Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
- Ability to meet OMNI productivity expectations, including service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
- Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, and stoop.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists and use handheld RF scanners to pick orders and verify merchandise.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as required.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
- Work with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly, meet productivity requirements and deadlines, and follow operational processes and SOPs for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard, and handle damaged or spoiled products according to SOPs.
- Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies, procedures, and dress code; perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
- Provide friendly and courteous service, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Maintain clean and organized order storage bins in accordance with safety and club standards.
- Attend work regularly and predictably; full attendance is an essential function of the job.
