About The Position

The Warehouse Shipping employee reads and understands work orders, locates and picks items from storage areas, and packs items for shipment. The role verifies merchandise against work orders and completes shipments. It also involves operating warehouse equipment and using internal RF scanners to access and document records, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The position is in a manufacturing environment and requires regularly lifting up to 75 pounds, as well as walking, standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; at least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to multitask and prioritize.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented when handling part numbers and counting items in a moving environment.
• Able to work independently or with others to complete tasks.
• Able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Pull and follow customer orders.
• Verify merchandise is correct for the work order and finalize and fulfill shipments.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, WAV Lift, and pallet jacks.
• Use internal RF scanners to access and document records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
