About The Position

As a Shipping Clerk, you will verify and keep records on outgoing shipments. This second-shift position runs Monday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a starting rate of $22.00 per hour. The role is based in warehouse environments that include freezer, perishable, and grocery areas, as well as an office area. Travel is not required. Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required. Hawaii Logistics, LLC is one of the largest wholesale grocery suppliers on the West Coast and is part of the C&S Family of Companies. Requirements

At least six months of warehouse experience.
Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required.
Attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and values.
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma; the listing includes both as qualifications.

Nice To Haves

Pallet jack experience is preferred.
Experience in grocery selection is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products.
Record shipping data, including weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.
Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
