Requirements
- 3+ years of warehouse, shipping, packaging, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous lead or workflow coordination experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of shipping and warehouse operations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping, packaging, and foaming activities to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
- Verify shipping documentation, labels, packing lists, and carrier requirements.
- Monitor shipment accuracy and investigate shipping or packaging discrepancies.
- Ensure products are packaged and prepared according to company and customer specifications.
- Support inventory accuracy by maintaining proper shipping records and transaction documentation.
- Assist with employee training on shipping, packaging, foaming, quality, and safety procedures.
- Communicate workflow issues, delays, and operational concerns to management.
- Promote compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production, Inventory, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products.
