Our Shipping and Warehouse team plays an important role in ensuring our laser systems, parts, and supplies are accurately handled, packaged, and shipped to customers around the world. We are seeking a Shipping/Warehouse team member to join our team and support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently from our facility to their final destination. Requirements

2+ years of warehouse experience
Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with co-workers
Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
PC Skills – Basic ERP experience, able to use Microsoft programs as well as a printer, scanner, and copier
Ability to multi-task, cross-train, and get things done
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Use of power tools such as drills and power stapler/nail guns
Perform basic arithmetic
Must be able to read and understand English
Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally

Nice To Haves

Forklift driving experience a plus
Experience with box truck local deliveries a plus

Responsibilities

Prepares shipments; selects appropriate shipping container, packs items to ensure safe delivery
Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that destination and routing are correct
Verifies that all serial numbers match paperwork and that all accessories listed on sales orders are packed
Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
Sorts, counts, packages, labels, and logs inventory that is shipped or received
Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
Performs cycle counts
Reads and follows instructions, such as packaging stock material into batch sizes
Follows all department safety procedures
Other duties as assigned
