About The Position

Assist in the day to day operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products working closely with Warehouse Management within a highly regulated quality environment, adhering to all Safety and Warehousing procedures. The position involves close collaboration with various departments to streamline processes, mitigate potential disruptions, and enhance overall operational efficiency, thereby contributing to the smooth and successful execution of Warehouse activities. It is incumbent upon the Shipping Lead to demonstrate Oceaneering's Core Values; Safety & the Environment, Teamwork & People, Customer Focus, Excellence, Accountability, Ethics and Adhering to Oceaneering's Life Saving Rules at all times.

Requirements

  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse associates.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
  • Basic computing skills, knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in Warehouse management system software (Peoplesoft/Oracle ERP) to track inventory, manage orders, generate reports.
  • Good experience within a supply and demand realm, including forecasts, receipt and delivery process, inventory reports and accuracy validation.
  • Extensive experience with offshore mobilization/demobilization responsibilities.
  • Proficient in monitoring inventory and shipping transaction accuracy.
  • Handling of multiple tasks and responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Rotational duties required within the Warehouse (receiving, picking, packing, shipping).
  • Operating Forklift within the Warehouse and outside in yard.
  • Check and receipt goods inwards from suppliers, offshore, intercompany transfers.
  • Locate stock into designated areas.
  • Pick and pack items for shipping.
  • Prepare invoices for shipments to worksites.
  • Book out equipment/spares to workshop personnel and to job sites.
  • Control cycle count and stock taking process when required.
  • Coordinate and delegate tasks with team on a daily basis, clarify requirements and prioritise tasks as necessary.
  • Chair daily MDI/Toolbox discussions with team and provide support where required.
  • Prepare, maintain and ensure adherence to weekly Shipping Schedule.
  • Generate reports for month end inventory receipts and issues.
  • Maintain equipment records, ensuring all movement of equipment is accurately recorded.
  • Active daily monitoring of all metrics related to function (on time delivery/+30 days reserved etc.).
  • Assist Warehouse Management with inventory reconciliation and inventory issues.
  • Where appropriate raise non-conformance reports to follow up discrepancies found within processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement for the purpose of refining relevant processes.
  • Driving duties as/if required for local collections and deliveries.
  • Rotational on-call duties.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving your working area through 6S activity.
  • Participate in weekly 6S audits when required.
