About The Position

American Bolt Corporation, a family-owned industry leader in fastener distribution, is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Lead to join their 1st shift team. This is a full-time, growth-focused, hands-on role where the successful candidate will coordinate daily shipping activities, manage workloads, assign routes, arrange shipments, monitor outbound progress, train and support team members, resolve order issues, identify process improvements, and enforce company policies and safety standards. The ideal candidate is confident, communicative, able to multitask, a team player, respectful, and comfortable delegating.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years' experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, and/or order fulfillment.
Forklift experience required (sit down, stand up, scissors lift experience preferred).
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience training, leading, or providing day-to-day guidance to warehouse employees preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
Partner with warehouse leadership to manage daily workloads, staffing, and priorities.
Assign driver routes and vehicles and support daily loading activities.
Arrange FedEx and third-party shipments, including required documentation.
Monitor outbound progress and communicate priorities during shift handoffs.
Train, support, and provide performance feedback to shipping team members.
Work with Sales and other departments to resolve order and shipping issues.
Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, product flow, and inventory accuracy.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
