About The Position

The Warehouse Shipping Associate is responsible for processing orders, picking items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and loading trailers. This role involves utilizing warehouse management systems, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging, and collaborating with team members to maintain efficient operations. The position requires physical stamina for lifting and operating warehouse equipment, as well as strong communication and basic mathematical skills.

Requirements

• Possess strength sufficient to lift 70 lbs on a regular basis
• Possess basic dexterity to use Acumatica and Banyan, hydraulic jacks, pallet jack, shrink wrap machines, tow motor, reach truck, and order picking
• Ability to learn and pass tow motor driver certification program
• Work as a team member or independently
• Comprehension of English language to prepare and read labels and to communicate with co-workers.
• Comprehension of the English language to be able to fully comprehend supervisory job assignments.
• Must also possess the ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• High school diploma required
• Ability to Commute: Cleveland, OH 44135 (Required)
• Ability to Relocate: Cleveland, OH 44135: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse shipping experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided
• Tow motor experience strongly preferred but not required. Training and certification will be provided
• Experience with Acumatica and Banyan is preferred, but not required
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
• English (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Utilize Acumatica and Banyan to process orders
• Pick ordered items from warehouse shelves and bring them to the dock area for loading and transport
• Palletize, label and shrink wrap items for shipping via common carrier
• Load trailers efficiently
• Process the pick list for customer orders
• Package and label items for shipping via UPS and FedEx (ground and air shipment)
• Collaborate with co-workers and managers to solve work-related problems
• Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly
• Transmit and explain work orders
• Check specifications of materials loaded and unloaded against information contained in work orders
• Inform co-workers or department heads of items loaded, and problems encountered
• Examine freight to determine loading sequences
• Prepare and maintain work records and reports that include information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts and inspection results
