About The Position

An ecommerce company is hiring a Shipping Associate to work in its warehouse in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The 200,000-square-foot warehouse is highly automated and requires close attention to detail and 100% accuracy. The company ships over a million packages annually and relies on the role to help ensure customers receive the correct products on time. The Shipping Associate packages and labels shipments, tracks shipments and product relocations, and works with the Shipping Department to ensure outbound packages are properly picked, packed, and labeled. The role may involve using a forklift with a work platform to elevate workers for inventory checks, following safety regulations, and assisting with other tasks as needed. The position is full-time and in person.

Requirements

Warehouse shipping experience.
Hand-eye coordination.
Mechanical skills.
Physical stamina.
Valid driver's license.
Able to pass a drug test and background check.
Ability to commute to North Brunswick, NJ 08902 (required).

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred).
OSHA certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Package and label items for shipment.
Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse.
May use a forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory.
Work with the Shipping Department to ensure outbound packages are properly picked, packed, and labeled.
Follow all safety regulations.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
