About The Position

Upper Lakes Foods is hiring a part-time Warehouse Selector to help ensure customers receive accurate orders on time. This fast-paced, hands-on role involves selecting and building customer orders, operating an electric pallet jack and other order-selection equipment, and working with a team. The goal is to select 1,000 or more cases per shift. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with productivity-based incentives that provide the opportunity to earn more.

The preferred schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, with availability for two to three days per week. Shifts begin at 7:00 PM and continue until the work is complete. Regular, dependable attendance is important. Warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training is provided for operating warehouse equipment.

The work is physically active and involves standing and walking for most of the shift; frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; and working in dry, cooler, and freezer areas, with temperatures ranging from approximately -10°F to 85°F. The warehouse may be noisy and includes operating equipment.

Final candidates must successfully complete a background check, pre-employment lift evaluation if applicable, and pre-employment drug screening. Employment offers are conditional on satisfactory background investigation results and a negative lift evaluation and drug screen.

Responsibilities
