About The Position

Upper Lakes Foods is hiring a Warehouse Selector to build customer orders accurately and on time in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment. The role involves operating an electric pallet jack and other order-selection equipment, working with a team, and handling products through completion of each shift. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with productivity-based incentives offering the opportunity to earn more. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 PM and continuing until work is complete, typically for 8 or more hours. Shifts may end earlier when work is completed ahead of schedule, and holiday work may be required. Regular and dependable attendance is important.

The position is physically active: employees spend most of the shift standing and walking and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull. Work takes place in dry, cooler, and freezer areas, with temperatures ranging approximately from -10°F to 85°F, and around warehouse equipment in an environment that can be noisy. Final candidates must successfully complete a background check, applicable pre-employment lift evaluations, and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities
