About The Position

The Warehouse Sanitation employee performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Similar duties may be performed in office areas as assigned. The role follows company health and safety policies, handles cleaning chemicals according to hazard-material instructions, and may operate a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of all associates.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazard-material sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack when required to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
