About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse role helps protect associates’ health and safety by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The position performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout warehouse dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4 a.m. until the work is completed. The role requires following company health and safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions or acts, handling cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material instructions, and completing assigned safety training and work accurately and on time. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure associate safety.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
Handle cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material sheets and instructions.
Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
Potentially operate a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
