About The Position

PS Seasoning is hiring a Warehouse Receiver for second- or third-shift warehouse operations. The role ensures incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and recorded. Receivers verify goods against shipping documentation, check for damage or discrepancies, enter inventory into the warehouse management system, label and organize items, coordinate with warehouse staff, process returns, and follow safety procedures. The position works in a warehouse that is not climate controlled and involves working around forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking.

Requirements

Attention to detail.
Basic math skills.
Computer proficiency for inventory systems.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks as needed.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, and climb.
Ability to stand or walk for an entire 8-hour shift.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, where temperatures rise in summer and fall in winter.

Responsibilities

Check and verify incoming goods against packing slips, purchase orders, or other shipping documentation.
Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management or the vendor.
Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system.
Label received goods and organize them in their proper storage locations.
Work with warehouse staff, including forklift operators, pickers, and packers, to support a smooth workflow.
Process returns or exchanges of defective or incorrect items.
Follow safety protocols and procedures when receiving and storing goods.
