About The Position

A Warehouse Receiver is responsible for timely and accurate receipt of products and placing them in designated warehouse areas. The role involves unloading and breaking down deliveries, then reviewing items and quantities against purchase orders. This is a seasonal position running until the end of December, paying $18.10 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, reach truck, walkie rider, and other equipment used in the receiving department.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills.
• Honesty, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and flexibility.
• Ability to frequently walk, stand, lift, pull, push, squat, and reach, with lifting up to 110 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Receiving experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review the dock schedule for expected deliveries.
• Check invoices and purchase orders before unloading trucks to confirm they match.
• Unload and break down incoming products; inspect them for compliance with COOL laws, damage, and quantity accuracy against the purchase order.
• Complete the purchase order and return it to the receiving office.
• Complete the manifest based on goods received or loaded and return it to the receiving office.
• Keep work areas clean and clear of obstructions.
• Complete other projects as needed.
• Greet customers warmly and help ensure they feel welcome and appreciated.
• Collaborate with team members and offer assistance where needed.
• Help improve and maintain store efficiency.
• Represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
