About The Position
The Warehouse Receiver increases operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials and supporting picking and packing for pickups and deliveries. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Branch 44 in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a pay range of $19.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive shipments and log them into inventory; maintain inventory through audits.
- Pull, fill, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
- Determine the status of an order at any given time.
- Follow special instructions for individual orders.
- Report quality or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate person.
- Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Help keep the facility clean, neat, safe, secure, and operating efficiently.
- Process returns accurately.
- Follow established policies and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.
- Present a neat and professional image.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other required technologies.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
