About The Position

Concordance Healthcare Solutions is hiring a full-time Warehouse Picking Clerk Low Unit of Measure in Chicago, Illinois. The role locates and picks merchandise using a Voice Pick System or pick tickets, then checks, packages, and wraps items accurately to complete customer orders. The clerk also supports inventory replenishment, staging, and related order-fulfillment activities while following customer requirements and established policies. The position requires maintaining an orderly work area, reporting inventory discrepancies, product damage, and equipment issues, and operating warehouse equipment safely. The clerk works under the direction of the department supervisor and/or facility Operation Manager, collaborates with colleagues, and contributes to a positive, team-oriented environment. The role involves physical activity throughout the shift, including standing or walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, stretching, pushing carts, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The position is located in Chicago, IL, and pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Excellent previous attendance history.
Basic math skills.
Ability to perform order-picking physical motions, including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, and standing or walking for extended periods, often over eight hours per shift.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and repeatedly push or pull carts weighing 75 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to operate, or willingness to learn to operate, powered industrial equipment.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Must successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick product, pre-count product as needed, replenish and stage product, and perform other duties needed to fulfill customer orders.
Report inventory discrepancies and shortages to the supervisor and research as needed to locate short product and maintain a high fill rate.
Maintain product and unit information to ensure the correct merchandise is picked and packed.
Learn customer requirements for custom palletization and labeling and follow customer requests according to established policies.
Keep the work environment clean and orderly; perform general custodial tasks, follow cleaning schedules, and report damages or disorderly areas to the supervisor.
Take direction from the department supervisor and/or facility Operation Manager while performing job duties.
Work proactively with colleagues and supervisors to maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere and support company goals.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, report mechanical issues, and maintain assigned equipment.
Develop effective communication and working relationships with internal stakeholders and understand company needs and expectations.
Understand Concordance’s internal processes and products and reflect its culture in work practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
