About The Position

Novolex is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Order Picker to join its warehouse team. The position involves accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment according to customer specifications, helping maintain efficient and accurate warehouse operations. The listed compensation is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly, and the available shift is days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail when picking orders.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring items accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role.
• Stand-up forklift experience.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders according to customer requests and shipping schedules.
• Verify picked items against order lists for accuracy, completeness, and correctness.
• Safely and effectively operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
