About The Position

Novolex is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Order Picker to join its warehouse team. The role involves accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment, following customer specifications and shipping schedules to help maintain efficient warehouse operations. The position requires working safely, keeping the work area organized, assisting with inventory, and collaborating with team members to meet daily goals and deadlines. The listed pay rate is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, paid weekly, based on experience.

Requirements

• One year of warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring items accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively in a team setting.

Nice To Haves

• Stand-up forklift experience or familiarity preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders based on customer requests and shipping schedules.
• Verify picked items against order lists for completeness and accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and effectively when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
