About The Position

Choose products accurately and build pallets to complete customer orders for proper shipment in accordance with Souto's quality and performance standards. The position involves order picking and handling materials, which are described as labor-intensive warehouse functions. The picker/selector organizes products according to SQF standards, confirms orders, and supports warehouse productivity.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to read and write and possess basic math skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to reach, lift, and stack cases weighing from 1 to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a single or double pallet jack safely.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select and organize the correct products required by customers and build pallets according to SQF standards, preventing damage during delivery.
• Seal and tag containers, verify order accuracy, and sign pick tickets.
• Operate single or double pallet jacks safely.
• Reach, lift, and stack cases weighing from 1 to 50 pounds.
• Follow and complete SQF-related training documents and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
• Become proficient with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Meet and comply with standard warehouse productivity expectations.
