Warehouse Picker Order Selector
About The Position
The Warehouse Picker Order Selector accurately picks products by matching product numbers using a voice audio headset. The role hand-stacks cases weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively, from floor to overhead, and places beverage products in a defined pattern on pallets. Completed orders are hand-wrapped with shrink wrap and a label, then moved to the loading dock using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment. The position may also include general warehouse housekeeping and other assigned duties. This is a full-time position in Des Moines, Iowa, scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM until finished. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed is required. The work involves active, repetitive physical tasks and working in multi-temperature environments.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, push, pull, bend, twist, kneel, and lift for the entire duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the entire shift, from floor to overhead.
- Ability to use a headset and voice-activated order selector picking system.
- Ability to hand shrink-wrap pallets of completed orders.
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, both hot and cool.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented, with an interest in working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Pick products accurately by matching product numbers and products using a voice audio headset.
- Repetitively hand-stack product cases weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to overhead.
- Place beverage products in a defined stacking pattern onto pallets.
- Hand shrink-wrap and label completed orders.
- Move completed orders to the loading dock using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment.
- Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
