About The Position

Select outbound grocery orders using a pick-by-light system to fill totes in the All-in-One (AIO) area. Also fill totes with inbound product by using a computer to determine the quantity of items to place in each tote. The role supports AWG members’ customer-service efforts and requires safe equipment operation, teamwork, accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodation where applicable and consistent with safety and contractual guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to understand basic mathematics, including number sequencing, counting, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly standing, walking, handling objects, tools, or controls, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to climb stairs to a height of 80 feet.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment within the work area.
• Accurately select the required quantities of products and pack them into totes, repeating the process as directed.
• Work within a team.
• Perform other duties as requested by the warehouse supervisor.
• Perform all duties safely and with respect for equipment and other associates.
• Complete housekeeping duties required to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Develop working knowledge of automated systems and equipment, including basic safety guidelines and practices.
• Fill totes with inbound product using a computer to determine the quantity of items to place in each tote.
