About The Position
The Picker Packer works in a warehouse environment at a book printing and distribution company. The role involves picking items using the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems, verifying books and quantities, and preparing boxes for shipping. The position is on the 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime that includes Friday and Saturday. New hires complete a 90-day evaluation period intended to support training and integration into the team. The work location is 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168.
Requirements
- At least 4 months of previous distribution facility experience.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items.
- Verify book titles, quantities, and item conditions to maintain accuracy.
- Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping.
- Follow all safety guidelines; safety shoes are required.
Benefits
- Pay of $17.00 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour shift differential.
