Picker Packer - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Picker Packer to pick, verify, label, scan, and sort book shipments in its Plainfield, Indiana distribution facility. The role operates within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems and requires following all safety guidelines, including wearing safety shoes. New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period to support training and successful integration into the team. This is a full-time third-shift position, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Mandatory overtime is required on Friday and Saturday. The stated pay is $17.00 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour shift differential. The work environment is described as fast-paced and seasonal. Requirements
- At least 4 months of previous distribution facility experience.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment.
Responsibilities

- Verify book titles, quantities, and item conditions to maintain accuracy.
- Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping.
