About The Position
The Warehouse Packer performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock.
Requirements
- One to two years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and by sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
- Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Wear proper safety equipment at all times.
- Perform other duties as requested by the respective supervisor and/or manager.
